Well, Summer is here (at last!), and the dust has settled on another great Stage 2 production as “A Tomb with a View” is placed into our archives. As usual there were trials, tribulations and a lot of hard work: line-learning, building, painting and helping out to mention a few. But as always, there was a huge amount of fun and friendship, a lot of laughs, and at the end of the day we achieved a production to be thoroughly proud of. Honour is due, not to mention huge thanks to our Director, Linda Graves for the fantastic effort she put into honing our performances and encouraging us, not to mention finding brilliant furniture and props, working to make sure we had the right things in our hands at each entrance, and pouring water over Matthew for THAT scene…. Everyone worked really hard to get the show on the road and our trusted backstage, admin and front of house team were brilliant, another fantastic set was built by Andrew and the team. The cast are so grateful to Jill our prompt – such a difficult, unsung but essential role, and she did us proud. Thanks to Liz for lighting our way, and, extra special thanks are due to Ken for taking on the sound duties at the very last minute and knocking it out of the park! Lastly, thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the show – a great audience makes the show so much more fun to perform. And now on to the next one – what will it be?

We are now searching for likely plays and reading to make that decision, so if you fancy being part of our friendly group and taking part please contact us for details of meeting times – you will be very welcome! Our next production will be on 5th, 6th and 7th December 2024 – save the date – more details soon….
